1. Data controller

AnyFileStudio is the name under which this site and its companion apps are published.

2. The principle, before the detail

The files you process on this site never reach us. They are not uploaded to a server of ours or of anyone else: they stay in your browser’s memory, they are processed there by the page’s own code, and you save the result on your device yourself. There is no path that takes them elsewhere, because there is no server to send them to.

As a result, the contents of your documents, photos and text are not data we process: we never see them, we never store them, and we could not hand them to anyone even if we wanted to. You can check this yourself by opening your browser’s developer tools, Network tab, while processing a file.

3. Data processed

3.1 Browsing data

As with any website, the provider hosting these pages automatically records some information sent by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type and operating system. This is used solely to serve the site, keep it secure and derive anonymous technical statistics, and is retained by the provider only for as long as those purposes require.

We use no analytics tools — no Google Analytics, no visit counters, no profiling of our own.

3.2 Preferences stored in your browser

The site stores two preferences in your browser’s local storage (localStorage): the language you chose and your advertising consent choice. These are not cookies, they are never sent to anyone, and they stay on your device until you clear the site’s data in your browser. Their only purpose is to avoid asking you the same thing on every visit.

3.3 Advertising

The site is free and funded by advertising. Ads, where present, are served by Google AdSense and are loaded only after your explicit consent: until you consent, no advertising script is loaded and no profiling cookie is set. Declining takes a single click, exactly like accepting.

If you consent, Google may set cookies or similar identifiers to show ads, measure their performance and cap how often you see them. For that processing Google acts as an independent controller; its practices are described in Google’s advertising policies. You can also manage your preferences at myadcenter.google.com.

What advertising cannot do, which is the point that matters: ads live in the page, while your files are processed in browser Workers. They are two separate worlds that never meet: no advertising script has access to the files you process, with or without consent.

3.4 Contact by email

If you write to the address shown on this page, we process your email address and the content of your message in order to reply and handle the request. We do not use these contacts for marketing.

3.5 What we do not collect

No account, no registration, no sign-up form. We do not ask for your name, email or payment details in order to use the tools, and there is no daily limit to get around by paying.

4. Purposes and legal bases

  • Serving and protecting the site — legitimate interest in its operation and security (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Remembering your preferences — legitimate interest in not asking you the same thing every visit (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
  • Showing ads — your consent only (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), withdrawable at any time.
  • Answering requests received — pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.b/f GDPR).

5. Cookies

The site sets no cookies of its own, neither technical nor profiling. The only possible cookies are Google’s, described in section 3.3, and only after your consent. The preferences in section 3.2 are not cookies: they are localStorage entries, which are never attached to network requests.

6. Data recipients

  • the hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc.), acting as data processor for the browsing data in section 3.1;
  • Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC, for advertising, and only where you have consented;
  • the email service provider, for communications by email.

We do not sell or otherwise pass on your data.

7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Any transfers to third countries take place on the basis of the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. Retention

Server logs are retained for the period set by the hosting provider, normally no more than a few months. Emails are retained for a maximum of 24 months after the request is closed. The preferences in section 3.2 stay on your device until you clear them.

9. Children

The site is not directed at children under 16 and does not knowingly collect their data. As there is no registration, we process no data that would reveal a visitor’s age.

10. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to info@prgspace.com. If you believe the processing infringes the GDPR you may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).

To withdraw advertising consent, clear the site’s data in your browser settings: the stored choice disappears and you will be asked again.

11. Changes

This policy may be updated. The version in force is the one published on this page, bearing the date shown above.

No upload: what you process never leaves your device.
