What is worth writing about

A tool that did not work. Tell me which tool, which browser, and what kind of file it happened on — “a three-hundred-page PDF from a scanner”, “an iPhone HEIC photo”, “a ZIP made on Windows”. Do not attach the file: it does not help us understand, and this site exists precisely so that you do not have to send your files around.
A tool you need that is missing. Requests that arrive more than once become the pages of the following months.
A mistake in the text. A clumsy translation, an instruction that says one thing while the button does another, a limit described wrongly.
Privacy and personal data. Rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR are exercised at this same address; what we process, and how, is set out in the privacy policy.
Advertising and business enquiries. Same address.

Recover a file. Nothing ever reaches us: if you have lost the original, no copy exists anywhere, here included.
Process a file for you. We cannot receive it, and we do not want to — that is the whole point of the site.
Support other people’s software. If the problem is in Word, in Acrobat or on your phone, this is not the right place — though we will still try to give you a line of an answer.
