How it works

Rotating, deleting and reordering are one tool because you do them looking at the same thumbnails. Drag a thumbnail onto another to move it, or use the arrows under each page, which also work from the keyboard; the other buttons rotate or remove the page. Text stays selectable and nothing is redrawn. What does not survive: bookmarks, links from one page to another (such as the clickable entries of a table of contents), form fields, digital signatures and attachments. Links to websites stay.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mix pages from two different PDFs?
This tool works on one document at a time. Merge the files first with “Merge PDFs”, then open the result here: the grid shows every page together, and you can put them in any order, rotate them or remove them in a single pass.
I removed the wrong page: how do I get it back?
Nothing is lost until you apply the changes: the removed page stays on the grid, faded, and you bring it back with the button under its thumbnail. “Restore all” undoes every removal in one go. Rotations and moves are fixed the same way, by repeating the action in reverse.
Do deleted pages stay hidden inside the file?
No. They are gone from the document you download, neither visible nor tucked away in the file’s data: whoever receives it cannot recover them. So you can also use it to take out a page you don’t want seen, before sending the document to someone.
Do bookmarks and internal links still work?
No. The document you download no longer has bookmarks, and links that jumped to another page, such as the clickable entries of a table of contents, stop working. If you change nothing and the file isn’t protected, though, you get it back identical, with everything it had.
