How it works
You draw your signature with a finger, a mouse or a pen, and it is cropped around the strokes: when you ask for five centimetres, that is five centimetres of signature, not of box. The background stays transparent, so on a form it does not cover the line underneath. You can also upload a photo of a signature on paper. It normally goes bottom right on the last page; with “Every page” it goes on all of them, to initial them, and the advanced options let you pick the spot, the size and the pages. It is not a digital signature with a certificate: it carries the same weight as signing a printed sheet by hand.
Frequently asked questions
- Can I put the signature exactly on the form’s signature line?
- Not by dragging it: in the advanced options you pick one of nine spots on the page — corners, sides or centre — and the distance from the edge, from 0 to 60 mm. Adjust distance and width until the signature lands where it should: your original file doesn’t change, so you can try as often as you like.
- Can I sign every page, for example to initial them?
- Yes: pick “Every page” and the signature goes on all of them. For just some, open the advanced options and type the ones you need in “On which pages”, such as 1-3, 7: if one doesn’t exist, the summary tells you. The file doesn’t grow with each signed page, because the signature is stored once and reused wherever it appears.
- Can I sign several documents with the same signature?
- Yes, up to 20 at a time: the signature, position, width and pages you choose apply to all of them. Each document comes out as its own signed file, and “Download all” gives you the lot in a single ZIP archive.
- What image can I upload for a signature on paper?
- A photo or scan in PNG, JPEG, WebP or AVIF. Shoot it on white paper, in good light, framing just the signature: any white around it stays in the image and makes the signature look smaller at the width you pick. On ruled lines or coloured backgrounds, drawing it here gives a cleaner result.
